Consilium is an established consulting firm with offices in Ottawa, Yellowknife and Iqaluit. We specialize in social and community economic planning, organizational development, and training, and provide service to corporations, governments and not-for-profit clients across Canada.

Our Yellowknife office offers a broad range of social and economic research, planning and organizational development services related to northern environmental and resource management issues. We are seeking a motivated Consultant for this office who will complement and build upon our current capacity to deliver environmental management services in the Mackenzie Valley and Nunavut.

The successful applicant will:

• hold a University degree in a course of studies related to resource/environmental management, or rural/community development
• have a minimum of five years professional experience and excellent skills in project design and management, research, writing and planning
• be self-directed and motivated
• have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• be free to travel
• Experience working in cross-cultural settings and with Aboriginal organizations is a strong asset, as is experience in the Northwest Territories and/or Nunavut.

Salary negotiable depending on experience, plus benefits.
