Jennifer Bradshaw, Office Administrator, has an extensive background in office management, marketing and sales.  Jennifer has worked for the past 20 years for a variety of companies, she has excellent skills in office management, project coordination and contracts administration.  Jennifer is fluently bilingual.

 

Christian Cloutier is a bilingual Researcher who specializes in quantitative and qualitative methodology design and analysis, including statistical analysis, as well as database design and application. He holds an honours bachelor’s degree in Sociology through Laurentian University (Sudbury, Ontario) and its federate l’Université de Hearst (Kapuskasing, Ontario) and he is also currently completing his master’s degree in Applied Social Research with Laurentian University. Christian has worked numerous contracts for the Department of Sociology at l’Université de Hearst, first as a research assistant then as a researcher, where he studied the social and economic impact of this institution and its graduates, as well as Francophone, Anglophone and Native youths’ aspirations in Northern Ontario. He has also been a teacher’s assistant for a statistical analysis course at Laurentian University. His areas of expertise include Strategic Planning and Organizational Development, Community Economic Development Planning, Youth Studies, and Cross-Cultural Studies.

Chuck Gilhuly is General Manager, Consilium Consulting Group Inc. and also a consultant. Before joining Consilium he worked extensively in Nunavut for over 25 years in a wide range of consulting, management, government and training positions. Most recently he established and served as Executive Director of the Nunavut Municipal Training Organization, coordinating the delivery of training to hundreds of municipal employees across Nunavut.

In completing his Master of Business Administration Degree from Athabasca University, Chuck researched national and international performance measurement programs and applied this research by developing and publishing the Nunavut Municipal Performance Measurement Report. The report is published annually and measures, benchmarks and reports on over 40 performance indicators for Nunavut municipalities.

Chris Grosset has planning, project management and research experience with government, private and community development organizations. Chris worked for the Government of Nunavut, Department of Sustainable Development for three years, and has been involved in the planning, development and implementation of capital infrastructure and community economic development projects in all regions of the territory. Trained in Landscape Architecture, Chris applies his enthusiasm for planning, development, collaboration and design to his work. Chris’ goal is to inspire the same commitment to excellence that he gains through his own involvement in the process.

Chris' experience includes coordinating and managing infrastructure development projects, community consultations, developing strategic plans, and research in the tourism, culture and heritage sectors. Among his project responsibilities, Chris was the researcher/writer for the Pond Inlet Community Economic Development Plan (2005), project manager for Inuit Heritage Trust’s Strategic Plan for the Nunavut Heritage Sector (2004-2005), and project manager for the Department of Education’s territorial review of trades training infrastructure for the Labour Market Development program (2004), and researcher/writer/designer for interpretive programs in Nunavut’s Territorial Parks and Special Places. He is a founding member of the Nunavut Association of Landscape Architects, and was an active Board Member of the Nunatta Sunakkutaangit Museum in Iqaluit. Chris is full time staff with Aarluk Consulting Inc., and a partner in The Consilium Consulting Group Inc.

Ian Kenney is a bilingual consultant who brings to his work a diverse background and a wide-range of talents and interests. Originally trained as a musician, his academic background also includes degrees in Public Administration and Canadian Studies. He has extensive experience in the areas of social and cultural policy, public sector management issues, governance, and Northern and Native affairs. Ian worked as a Research Associate for the Royal Commission on Aboriginal People where he served as a member of the North Policy Team. Since then, Ian has worked extensively as an independent consultant in community development and management, particularly to First Nation communities across Canada. In addition to community development work, Ian has extensive experience in program evaluation, contributing to projects for government and Aboriginal of clients, including of the Canada-Nunavut Cooperation Agreement (Inuktitut component) for the Government of Nunavut, and of the Cree Human Resources Development Agreement for the Cree Regional Authority (Québec). Ian is a member of the Community Development Society, and the Canadian Evaluation Society .

Geoff Rigby, researcher grew up and lived in Iqaluit since the age of two. He graduated from Inuksuk High School and went on to Carleton University, completing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. After pursuing his education, he worked as a researcher for both the World Wildlife Fund’s Arctic Programme in Oslo, Norway, as well as the Nunavut Research Institute. Geoff recently finished working as a Socio-Economic Analyst for the Nunavut Economic Developers Association.

Leslie Sutherland is a skilled office manager with over 20 years experience in office and project administration for private consulting firms and the Federal Government. Leslie has worked with Consilium for the past 9 years managing all administrative and facilities management functions, providing project coordination assistance as well as project research for clients and report design and preparation for a wide variety of organizations. . Leslie's project work has taken her to Northern Quebec where she delivered a training session and Nunavut where she assisted in the set-up of the Aarluk Consulting ( formerly Consilium Nunavut Inc.) office and provided orientation to staff in the Iqaluit office.
